Sometimes the fiery arrows are "good" things. Things that make you stop praying or depending on God. What if each time your pain was so bad, you were just about to confront it and then Satan (not God) eases the pain so you feel no need to address it and it gets worse the next time in an endless cycle that Satan controls until some part of you (physical or emotional) is completely destroyed. Satan is tricky and he uses this one often.

Don’t ignore or minimize the things that need to be confronted and exposed. Find the right time, get prayed up, ask a friend to pray for you, and then, in God’s strength, talk to the person about the issues. Don’t be fooled in to thinking it will get better on its own or it won’t happen again. Say what needs to be said and then let God get to work on the person.
